I looked all over the internet for the Motorola T505 and prices were outrages and much more then I wanted to spend. I seen the price advertised on Amazon through [...]. Well my eyes could not believe the price I was seeing and that they had it in stock. I hurried up and ordered it and the service was really fast. Well, First step was to pair the unit with my Google G1 phone. Piece of cake, done in less then a minute. Second step, Try out the features on this unit, all I can say is the speaker quality on this blew me away, it sounds great. I made a call to a friend and they told me I was lying about talking on a hands free speaker. Then I tried out the FM transmitter on the unit and again, really impressed, sound was outstanding. I also fed Pandora radio from my cell phone to my car stereo with no problem at all. Then I wanted to see if I could play Google navigate from my phone to my car stereo and I thought someone was sitting next to me reading a map out laud. By the way, this is the first time I ever reviewed a product that I bought. This item is so good, I had to do it. They call me electronic man at work because I am a gadget person. I love electronic toys. If you are looking for an item like this, Look no further, buy this one. Final note, I do not work for Motorola nor do I like all there products, BUT, this one is a hit.Thank You for reading my review of the Motorola T505.

Maryland just pass a law where you have to use a hands free device for your cell phone. So, I thought it was a good idea to get a hands free device. I don't like the idea of something sticking in my ear for a long period of time. I started to go cheap but came upon the T505 on Amazon.com. This is a great product. As far as setting it up, pairing your cell phone and usage, it is a breeze. The voice going in and out is nearly perfect. People on the other end can tell you are on a speaker phone, however, it is not annoying. I have only had the product for a short period of time and I look forward to many months of actual usage. I am not to fond of the FM radio (transmitter) but that is the only very, very small complaint. This is a great product.

The Motorola T505 ROKR is an excellent device. It's easy to use, convenient, and very well designed. I love that it allows me to listen to my iphone over the radio, and that it automatically pauses the itunes play when I want to make or receive a call. The radio broadcast is amazingly clear, even in the heart of the city. There is noting that I don't like about this device.
I don't know how I managed without it. Highly recommend!

I just received my T505 last week and I absolutly love it. Setup took me a few minutes but only because I was too impatient to read the directions. Even without reading the directions setup was pretty simple. My favorite part is that I can play the satellite radio on my phone through the car speakers. It's even better than listening to the car stereo because it automatically pauses the song when a call comes through, and resumes when you hang up. As far as the sound quality, its very clear on my end and no one I've spoken to has noticed they were on speakerphone. If you ever notice any background static you can just change it to another station (I've only encountered a slight static once). The controls on the device are easy to use and you can also use your stereo's controls to adjust the volume. It also came with a pretty snazzy looking micro USB car charger.
I would advise you do your homework before buying or bidding on one of these. During the course of shopping I saw prices ranging between $30-$110 (new & used). |
It just works

I love this product... I use it everyday to connect my smartphone (Moto Droid) to my car stereo. It works great for receiving calls but I mainly bought to play my music and videos through. I've had a few FM transmitters and this is the best one I have ever seen hands down.. Music comes through very crisp and very clear. It "almost" always finds a good station for you. I mostly use it to listen to Pandora on my commute to and from work.. I rarely listen to regular radio anymore.
